About

I am anonymous. Aside from that, glean what you can from my posts.

I’ve changed my mind. I’ll tell you some things.

Born and raised outside a small village in the bulging midsection of the country, I moved many years later to a big city in the bulging midsection of the country.

My daily medications include Effexor, lithium, and Lamictal, all for depression, but a little for something like bipolar II. I also take Adderall for my adult ADD.

I was married once, and it ended badly. We had a child whom I don’t see much anymore.

I’m married now, and it’s going very well, thank you.

I have been a fast-food worker, a dishwasher, a factory worker, a musician, a library aide, an artist’s assistant, a teacher of Freshman composition, a writer and researcher, and a nurse’s assistant. I am now preparing to enter nursing school.

The last time I ate meat was January 7, 1994. The last time I drank alcohol was November 19, 2002. There were last times for marijuana, cocaine, and some other things back there somewhere, but it wasn’t deliberate, so I don’t remember the dates.

I began blogging in October 2003. At various points, I had a long-running unfocused blog named after a figure in Greek mythology and a monologue from a noirish movie; an experimental group writing blog; a blog on a famous principle of physics; a blog on addiction and recovery; a blog about children’s literature; a blog on which I pretended to be a 19th-century American poet’s ghost; a blog on which I pretended to be the Devil; a blog on which I hung out with teenagers; a blog that looked for monsters; a blog that collected evidence of the end of the world; and a blog that occasionally related details and stories of my efforts to become a nurse. All of these, at various points, were destroyed and deleted in fits of depression.

Hi, nice to meet you. I see that you have blogrolled me. Thank you. I am always quite honoured when someone does this. It surprises me as well as I never know just where I end up in blogland at times.

I’m going to bookmark you now to keep track of you so I can come back and read some more.

    Thanks again,
    PA

Cheers f15h…I must confess with my ADDled brain (and all the rest of the dx’s…and the meds…) your Categories, Post Titles and all the rest should at the very least keep me puzzled and entertained?

    And yes…what you write.

    I must say…you “secret code” is pr37y k00I.

Erm…I don’t know if I even did that right.

    Shit.
